Biographie

David Colignon received his master and PhD degree in Physics from the University of Liège, Belgium, in 1993 and 1998. He then joined the Applied Electricity unit, ULiège, working on the numerical modelling of electromagnetic problems. In May 2001 he joined as a postdoc the Aix-Marseille University, France, and was responsible of the modelling tasks in the "Industrial Testing for Electromagnetic Problems" European project. In June 2003 he obtained a "Marie Curie Industry Host Fellowship" grant and joined the EADS Corporate Research Center in Toulouse, France, to validate a high frequency antenna/structure interaction code. In June 2005 he went back to the Applied and Computational Electromagnetism research unit of the ULiège to optimize a new high frequency electromagnetic scattering parallel code. In March 2008 he became a logistic collaborator of the Belgian Fund for Scientific Research (FNRS) in the framework of the CÉCI High Performance Computing interuniversity project. Since January 2014 he is "Logisticien de Recherche" at the ULiège and manages the NIC5 supercomputer.
